We support the efforts of the Lutheran World Relief, who are there supporting those around the world who are experiencing, hunger, poverty, or natural disasters.
TRUNK OR TREAT
Some pictures from our Trunk or Treat in 2025. We work together with the Children’s House Montessori School. It was a great night of fun, food and fellowship for all who came to our parking lot.
This year’s Trunk or Treat will be held on October 30, 2026 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.

The Neighborhood Center
Once a month we go to the The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia, formally known as The Bridge, to serve the evening meal to those in the community that are down on their luck. Their goals at The Neighborhood Center are to:
Feed the Hungry House the Homeless Prevent Homelessness
We partner with Angelina’s Pizzeria who donate baked Ziti (if you are ever looking for a great Italian Restaurant, they are GREAT and they are located on Woodland Avenue in Deland). We also serve green beans, fruit, and cake made by our church members. It is a very rewarding experience being able to help those who are experiencing problems in their lives.
Hatter Pantry
What a great day, September 13th, having Dr. Rajni Shankar-Brown talk with us at our service about helping those in need. Pictured is a collection of our donations as a new Outreach partner of Faith, the Hatter Pantry. Our example of “God’s Work, Our Hands.”
